1.2 – Extension Work

If you have completed the 1.2 – Performance Plan task and you have time, you should consider completing the following extension tasks:

• Take the list of tasks you set for your band before the concert and turn it into a timetable. Set specific dates and times that you will complete these tasks. You could create a table in Microsoft Word, or use Excel to make a spreadsheet.
• Draw a floor plan of the stage in the theatre. Where do you want each band member and each piece of equipment to do? Hand-drawn or using a computer is fine. Make sure it is neat and clear so that stage staff know exactly where you want things.
• Create a blog video discussing the health and safety issues for the concert. You should consider filming this in the theatre so you can show the audience the stage and surrounding areas.
